General Introduction:
A six-month, nationally endorsed Health Training Package program in remedial massage therapy practice in Australia. This course covers the provision of remedial massage treatment to clients with specific needs such as injury management, rehabilitation, palliative care, aged care, women and children.
Upon successful completion of the course, the graduating student will be entitled to practice in Remedial Massage. Graduates often work in or establish their own clinic, find work in aged care facilities or health services. Graduates are recognised by following professional complementary medicine associations for accredited membership enabling them to be recognized by major health funds within Australia:
This course also suitable for those who may be seeking to upgrade their existing Remedial Massage qualifications to meet the current nationally endorsed Health Training Package competency standards.
Entry Requirements:
Applicants must be over 18 years of age and have completed the higher school certificate or equivalent and have read and understood the terms and conditions of Chi-Chinese Healing College's Participant Handbook.
Pre-requisite Requirements:
Successfully completed the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice HLT40307.
